Direct and participate in the preparation of foods and fermented tea. Plan and price menu items, order supplies, keep records and accounts of a kombucha brewery. Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards. Check the quality of kombucha products to ensure that standards are met. Develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients. Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients.
Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts and Management or Fermentation Science and Technology.
